Anyway looking forward to playing with my linux machine even more. I can only set it to medium and maintains barely above 60fps in opengl. Was a bit shocked though Dota 2 is heavier than I remember it was back in 2014 the last time I tried it.

I can crank the settings up to max full aa at 1080p and can maintain 60fps with occasional dips. My nephew occasionally plays Left For Dead 2 with it which happens to work fine on linux so decided to try it out. Celeron G1840 2.8ghz dual core, 4gb ram, RX-550 running on Ubuntu Mate 18.04.
